Picnics

There are several opportunities for informal picnics around the lake. We would recommend Torver for those who enjoy wooded glades, or Sunny Bank if you prefer an open beach with fell access. If you are walking to Brantwood and really want a table (!) then you can use the Rigg Wood site that is owned by the Forestry Commission.

No picnics in the boat cabins please.
